Magelang (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto visited a Nutritious Meal Service Unit in Magelang city, Central Java, on Saturday.
He was seen leaving the gate of the Military Academy, Magelang, where he is holding a retreat with his Cabinet ministers, and arriving at the service unit at 2:17 p.m. local time.
He rode a buggy car with Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya and head of the National Nutrition Agency, Dadan Hindayana.
The President toured the Free Nutritious Meal Service Unit before returning to the academy.
Meanwhile, the Red and White Cabinet of President Prabowo underwent briefings on priority programs such as industry downstreaming and free nutritious meals on the second day of the retreat.
Forestry Minister Raja Juli Antoni said that the briefing sessions featured Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati; head of the National Development Planning Agency, Suharso Monoarfa; Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Erick Thohir; National Nutrition Agency head Hindayana; and Minister of Agriculture, Andi Amran Sulaiman, as speakers.
"Many important sessions will be delivered today," he informed.
Hindayana confirmed the presence of the Nutritious Meal Service Unit in Magelang city.
"(It will provide meals) for 3 thousand people, consisting of pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, toddlers, (and) schoolchildren from early childhood education to high school, including Islamic boarding school students and other religious schools," he said.
However, he did not disclose whether similar units will be built in other parts of Indonesia.
