Banjarmasin, S Kalimatan (ANTARA) - A young Bulgarian rider Teodor Kabakchiev Smilenov won the champion beating other world riders at the international dirt bike championship the 2022 South Kalimantan's Uncle Hard Enduro at Kiram Park, South Kalimantan, Sunday (Nov 27, 2022).
"Congratulations to all champions of the international class this year, all have shown their best," said Governor of South Kalimantan Sahbirin Noor when handing over trophies to the champions.
Some 14 world riders, including from Spain, England, South Africa, Switzerland, Italy, Bulgaria, Mongolia and Iran, took part in the motocross international class which began on Saturday (Nov 26, 2022).

The only rider represented Indonesia was Wawan Kadri from HAF 7177 team, Kandangan, South Kalimantan.
From the two races played, Teodor Kabakchiev Smilenov recorded a perfect score of 50 points bringing him to the top position.
Then the other top five on the podium following him, Alfredo Gomez from Spain, Mario Roman from Spain, Graham Jarvis from England, and Michael Walkner from Austria.
Meanwhile, Wawan Kadri was only able to earn 11 points to lock in 10th position out of 15 riders.
However, this result was enough to get appreciation from the governor who immediately gave Kadri a cash bonus of IDR50 million plus umrah.
"Indonesian rider who have the guts to compete in the international class deserves appreciation, hopefully in the future more host participants will be able to appear," said the governor, who is familiarly called Uncle Birin.
The "Uncle Hard Enduro" competition explores the natural beauty of Kiram Park, Meratus Mountains, which is proposed to be recognized as the Unesco Global Geopark. At present, there are 177 UNESCO Global Geoparks in 46 countries.
A 20 kilomeers rough and difficult terrain that has been designed in such a way that dirt bike riders must conquer. This requires high skill in controlling a dirt bike and excellent physical endurance.
Apart from the international class, there are also national and local classes to the adventure class followed by 1,500 riders from various regions in Indonesia, including the Governor Uncle Birin who was the initiator of the largest enduro class automotive sports championship in Indonesia.
