Banjarmasin, S Kalimatan (ANTARA) - As many as 14 world-class riders have come to take part in the international dirt bike championship "Uncle Hard Enduro 2022" at Kiram Park attraction, Banjar District, South Kalimantan Province, on 25-27 November 2022.
"Even some of these foreign riders have tried the tracks," said Chairman of the Uncle Hard Enduro South Kalimantan 2022 Committee Waluyo at Kiram Park, Wednesday.
Among them was world champion rider Graham Jarvis from England, who even has tried the track.
"There was also a female rider from Australia who also tried the track," he said.
According to him, the number of the world's top riders at the Uncle Hard Enduro was 18 people from 13 countries.
Among them, South African rider Wade Young, Mario Roman from Spain, Sony Goggia from Italy, Teodor Kabachiev from Bulgaria, Jack Field from Mongolia, and some of Australia's top riders.
There are four classes competed in the Uncle Hard Enduro championship, namely international, national, local and adventure classes.
"International class (followed by) more than 20 riders, including national riders are also (compete) here," he said.
Meanwhile, the national and local classes will involve 50 riders from Java, Kalimantan and other provinces.
"For the adventure class, there are around 1,500 riders," said Waluyo.
Uncle Hard Enduro is presented free for the public, and there will even be an Iwan Fals concert on Saturday night.
"Currently, preparations are over 80 percent for everything," said Waluyo.
