Muhammad Rifaldi Rahman is a teacher for Al Quran learning for children (TK/TP Al-Quran) in Murakata Indah Residential Complex, Barabai, and Norhasina is a contract teacher who teaches Geography at the Islamic high school Madrasah Aliyah Al Muhajirin, Pemangkih.
The two were selected from 12 finalists who were judged by five juries, namely acting Regional Secretary of HST, who is also the Head of Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism Office (Disporabudpar) Muhammad Yani, Chairperson of PKK HST Cheri Bayuni Budjang, Deputy Head of HST Art Council M Ikhwansyah, Runner up II of Miss Tourism of South Kalimantan 2021 Nurul Hatimah, and HST artist Rama Haur Kuning.
M Rifaldi when met here on Monday said that he did not expect to win the first place because the competition among the contestants was so tight.
Assisted by Disporapar, he will make work programs arrangements for the improvement of the district tourism. "I take part in this contest, because I really enjoy recreation in tourist destinations, especially mountains, and I also want to promote HST's tourism," he said.

"I believe the increasing tourism in a region will have an impact on increasing job opportunities for local residents, including parking attendents, traders, tour guides. In addition, our culinary specialities will become the target of tourist as souvenirs," he said.
Rifaldi and Norhasina will represent HST for the contest at the South Kalimantan provincial level.
