Sugian, who is also Head of the Transportation Agency, delivered the invitation in a coordination meetings with Commission I DPRD, District Narcotics Agency (BNK), Police, Customs Office, Health Agency, Hizb ut-Tahrir Indonesia (HTI), and other agencies in Kotabaru on Tuesday.
"We all have to agree and make Kotabaru district hell for the drugs dealers. We should establish a forum eradication of drug trafficking, because the illicit goods circulation have been troubling us all," said Sugian.
According to Sugian, people can not only rely on the police alone in combating drug trafficking in Kotabaru.
The eradication of drug trafficking can be done through many ways, through socialization to schools, including to safeguard the legal process in prosecutors office and in the court.
Head of the Kotabaru narcotics police unit AKP Ubaldus Delo said, from January until now Kotabaru police have uncovered 102 drug cases, securing evidence of 48.04 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 48,105 drug pills. Of the 102 drug cases are 113 suspects, of whom as many as 99 men and 14 women.
