Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Regent Anang Syakhfiani officially inaugurated the Nature School of Muhammadiyah Tabalong (SAMTA) in Belimbing Raya Urban Village, Murung Pudak Sub-district, Saturday.
He said, inaugurating a school is a common thing for him. But Tabalong needs a new icon in education, and that is SAMTA.
"Tabalong need new icons and I think SAMTA is a new icon that is needed for this district," Anang pointed out.
The regent then signed an inscription, cut the ribbon and placed the first stone of the KH Achmad Dahlan Mushalla at the SAMTA complex which covers an area of 6,000 meters.
The nature school of SAMTA, which will integrate kindergarten, elementary school, and junior high school, is the first in the District of Tabalong.

A number of officials attended the inauguration, as well as private sector, including the management of PT Saptaindra Sejati (SIS) together with the Adaro Bangun Negeri Foundation (YABN).
PT SIS contributed to the construction of two classrooms for junior high school.
“PT Saptaindra Sejati is part of Adaro Group which has the obligation to carry out CSR program, one of which is to build this classrooms as part of the pillar of Adaro Turning on Knowledge," said PT SIS External Relation Section Head Indra Yudistira at the ceremony.
Chief of the committee of the SAMTA development Wahyu Wibowo said that the construction of the nature school was sourced from various assistance, including the South Kalimantan Provincial budget, the Tabalong District budget, CSR assistance from PT SIS and other donors.
