Head of Banjar Trade and Industry Agency, Ahmad Bagiawan, here said the raid targeted food and drinks that are out of circulation, including the change of color.
The raid supported by Public Order members and Banjar Police personnel to check food and drinks at three stalls at Jalan Suka Ramai, Martapura Market.
Officers found expired food items kinds of milk powder, snacks, syrups and tomatoes in containers, so partly confiscated as a sample.
In addition to visiting a number of stalls in the traditional market, the team also checked goods sold in three mini market and did not find expired food and drink.
They only found damaged packaging or dented and rusty like canned fish and canned milk in mini market, so the manager asked to withdraw goods from the display.
