PLTS at Panaan Not Yet Repaired

Tanjung, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Solar Power Plant (PLTS) at Panaan Village, Subdistrict Bintang Ara, District Tabalong, until now could not be repaired because of its technical team are still outside the country.
"Workers who understand the technical PLTS network systems, which was damaged by lightning, still in Thailand. PLTS so far can not be repaired," said Head of Regional Regulation of the Tabalong Mining Agency Bambang Irawinadi here on Thursday.
Previously Bambang joint PLTS project implementers directly check the power plant which was an assistance from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources for Panaan Village.
The impact of the damage around 300 families in the village must use generators or lighting oil lamps.
" Now the price of kerosene here reached Rp15 thousand per liter, while the wax is very rarely sold. People expect PLTS can be fixed as soon as possible," said Nita, a resident of Panaan.
The PLTS is also very necessary for health care activities in community health centers (Puskesmas), mosques and musholla for religious activities.
In addition to the Panaan, PLTS also provided as assistance for Kalingai village, Salikung village in Subdistrict Muara Uya, and remote indigenous communities (KAT) in Dambung Raya Village, Subdistrict of Bintang Ara.
