Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - The South Kalimantan Central Agency of Statistics (BPS) revealed the price of grain, especially the type of dry grain harvest (GKP) at the level of local farmers in the province in August 2013 rose 0.44 percent .
"The increase in the price of grain at the farmer level was by observation of 78 transactions in 10 districts, which dominated by GKP, " said Head of Distribution of local BPS Arih Prasetyo here on Tuesday.
During August 2013, the highest grain prices originated from Siam Mayang varieties worth Rp5.444,0/Kg , located in the Beruntung Baru subdistrict and Gambut, Banjar District.
While the lowest price worth Rp3.636,0/Kg derived from grain Pandak varieties, which also from Beruntung Baru, Gambut, and Aluh-aluh, Banjar District.
The average price of grain GKP quality at the farmer level Rp4.105 during August 2013 , an increase of 0.44 11/Kg
percent compared to July 2013, when it was valued at Rp4.087 , 03/Kg .
Then the price of grain at the mill in South Kalimantan during August 2013 , up 0.83 percent from Rp4.168,84/Kg (July 2013) became Rp4.203,42/Kg ( August 2013 ) .
While the government purchase price ( HPP ) against grain GKP quality at the farm level Rp3.300/Kg and Rp3.350/Kg in the milling.
