Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Governor Rudy Ariffin take advantage of the holy month of Ramadan to evaluate the economic growth that occurred from 2012 to 2013 in 13 districts and municipalities in South Kalimantan.

Head of Public Relations of South Kalimantan Government, Haris Makkie, here on Tuesday said, during Ramadan, the Governor and Deputy Governor will visit all districts and cities in South Kalimantan interchangeably.

"On a visit whose activities centered on the mosque and mushalla there will be a dialogue on economic growth and various issues in the area," said Haris.

Besides other issues, such as public order and safety and well socialized election plan that is safe and orderly, will be carried out on a visit that is packaged in Ramadan safari events.

At each visit, added Harris, the governor also will be accompanied by most relevant agency head, so that any problems that occur in the area could be heard directly by the officials.

"This fasting month will also be a moment for introspection related to government development programs to what have and have not been running," he said.

According to Harris, the governor also issued an appeal for people to always keep order during the holy month of Ramadan and to have mutual respect to each other.
