KPK Received 1,003 Complaints from S Kalimantan

Banjarmasin (Antaranews, South Kalimantan) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) received 1,003 complaints related to the issue of corruption in South Kalimantan during 2004 to 2012.

"If on the case we can not tell you right now, but there is one case with a suspect who was binding (inkrah)," said Functional KPK for Directorate of Human Services Education Mohammad Rofie Haryanto here on Thursday at a discussion in the office of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia, South Kalimantan.

While the other case, he said, after checking, it turns out most of the domain is not the Commission, and in part already completed or in the process of the law of each region.

"For example, there is the case of a wife who reports her husband's corruption, it turned out after the investigation wife hurt by her husband's affair," he said.

Allegations of corruption against the husband, because the husband is a civil servant, who could not sustain two kitchens, so he suspected of corruption.

During 2004 to 2012, he added, KPK has arrested around 235 people were involved in corruption, most of the officials, law enforcement, prosecutors, judges, police and others.

Certain special cases which do not significantly harm the public, but many, and its solution protracted, he added, the public can complain to the Commission and the Commission will follow up.
