Martapura, (Antaranews South Kalimantan) - The Banjar District Central Bureau of Statistics send 696 field enumerators to conduct census of agriculture in the district.
Banjar BPS head Edy Rahmadi in Martapura, Monday, acknowledged it is the large the number of census workers than other districts in South Kalimantan. It is because Banjar has more agricultural potential with a more extensive area than others in the province.
All officers, who have been given technical training, is divided into 174 enumeration team. A team consists of four people and entirely in charge of 19 districts in the county. They use two methods: door to door and snowball methods adapted to the characteristics of the census area.
"Method" door to door "run for rural villagers as the concentration of typically agricultural region, while the" snowball "run for urban areas," he explained.
Each team was assigned a census of nine census blocks consisting of 300 to 400 households who run farm businesses, including companies and schools.
