We asked that in the future every MTQ to involve community not like it used to be that people only know that MTQ in the government activity,Kandangan, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Regent South Hulu Sungai (HSS) H Achmad Fikry opened the district conference (Musda) of Quran Reading Institute (LPTQ) in Serba Guna auditorium in Angkinang Sub-district.
This is, he said, in preparation of the 47th Quran Recital Competition (MTQ) in the district to be held in the Angkinang Sub-district next Wednesday. But he asked, the next to involve community.
"We asked that in the future every MTQ to involve community not like it used to be that people only know that MTQ in the government activity," he pointed out in his remark, Saturday (22/6).
No matter how small the role of the community in the implementation will certainly be very meaningful for the smooth running of activities, he said.
He hopes that MTQ this time can get qari and qariah (male and female reciters) who are truly ready to take part in provincial and national level MTQ.
To the judges and juries, the HSS Regent reminded that no one would come into contact with qari and qari'ah coaching, so that their judging results would be pure without any participants involved with the role of the jury.
The 47th MTQ at the HSS Regency level is scheduled to open on Wednesday (6/26) at 20:30 enlivened by a grand tabligh which presents Habib Ahmad Al Habsyi from Jakarta.
Also present was Deputy Regent Syamsuri Arsyad, sub-district heads, Head of HSS Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs H Saribuddin, board of judges and juries and MTQ committees.
