Highwaves with gale causing fishermen in sub-district Pulau Sembilan, Kotabaru Regency, dare not to sea in the past few days.

 â€œThere is no fisherman going fishing. No one dare to,” said Riadi, one of fishermen.

They apparently trauma with the accident caused by highwaves and high winds. Some boat were lost and a baby died.  The disaster happened at the extreme weather in Kotabaru and Java waters.

Now that the weather can not be predictable. Sometimes calm like there is no waves at all. “But suddenly  highwaves come with gale,” told Riady.

The unpredictable weather make fishermen choose to stay home and repairing their nets, while waiting for the weather to be really quiet.
