The Ministry of Communication and Informatics sets Tabalong District as the recipient of the 100 Smart City with other districts and cities.
Tabalong Regent Anang Syakhfiani signed the handover of the smart city program in Jakarta, Wednesday (15/5).
According to Anang, the program is to provide service convenience with the use of information technology for the community.
"With the use of information technology, it can facilitate regional product marketing and information dissemination," explained Anang.
Tabalong District Government has formed a team as a follow-up to the 2019 Smart City program. The plan is this program to be launched on Tabalong Anniversary on December 2, 2019, said Anang.
While APBD funds will be allocated to support the facilities and infrastructure to realize the smart city on the 'Bumi Saraba Kawa' (nickname of the district).
Anang also expressed his appreciation for the support of all his staff, thus Tabalong was chosen to implement the Ministry of Communication and Informatics program
