The South Kalimantan's Banjarbakula Center for Drinking Water Management (BPAM) signed a memorandum of understanding with PDAM Tanah Laut about tariffs for bulk water services in order to provide clean water services to the resident of Bati-Bati Subdistrict, Tambang Ulang Sub-district, Kurau Sub-district and Bumi Makmur Sub-district, Thursday (2/5).

The Managing Director of PDAM Tanah Laut Eko Sugiharto said, in the series of the MoU two optical systems had been built located in Bati-Bati and Kurau.

"Both of these optical systems have been built through APBN (state budget) funds and South Kalimantan Provincial Budget (APBD) funds and followed up with Tanah Laut's APBD funds," he said.

He hopes that Banjarbakula's regional spam will provide more benefits to what has been planned in the form of better access to clean water services to the public.
