Mayor Banjarbaru Nadjmi Adhani and Deputy Mayor Darmawan Jaya S welcomed their guests members of the Indonesian City Administration Association (Apeksi) with a welcome dinner on an open field on Wednesday night.
They were the participants of the 7th Work Meeting of the Regional Office V Apeksi 2019. In addition to the mayor and deputy, they were welcomed by the Banjarbaru DPRD Speaker H AR Irwansyah and Secretary Banjarbaru Said Abdullah.
Among the attendees were the Inter-Regional Cooperation Manager of the Apeksi Central Management Board Secretariat Drs Sukarno, Chairperson of Kalimantan Regional Committee V Ibnu Sina, and Samarinda Mayor H Syaharie Jaang.
Then, Deputy Mayor of Pontianak Bahasan, Deputy Mayor of Bontang Basri Rase, Deputy Mayor of Tarakan Effendi Djuprianto, Assistant of City Government of Singkawang Heri Apriadi, Assistant I of City Government of Palangkaraya and Assistant I of Balikpapan City.
Banjarbaru Mayor Nadjmi Adhani conveyed the agenda of the 7th Working Meeting of the Regional Office V Apeksi 2019 filled with tree planting, followed by a work meeting where the results were reported to the central government.

He conveyed the plan to hold the Murjani festival at the end of 2019 inviting regional heads of Kalimantan to join the flower carnival for all cities in Kalimantan.
"We will also launch the Banjarbaru Calender Of Event in Malioboro, Yogyakarta, Saturday (3/23) night. It is hoped that these activities can promote tourism of cities in Kalimantan," he said.
Welcome dinner was entertained by special guests from the capital Cak Lontong with the slogan "If You Are Ugly Don't Ever Be Afraid of Loving Because What Should Be Afraid Is The One You Love.
