Manager of the PLN Amuntai Customer Service Unit Haryo Pramoto informed power outage for the entire area of North Hulu Sungai on Sunday (24/3) due to maintenance of substations in Banjang Subdistrict.
"A power outage will be carried out from 09.00 to 14.00," Haryo said in Amuntai on Wednesday.
He said, in addition to the HSU area, some villages in the Tabalong Regency area will be affected by the outage of electricity as well.
He said the blackout plan had been notified to a number of local government agencies, especially to public service agencies, to anticipate blackouts by providing generator engines.
In addition, PLN informs it via radio, cable TV networks, including through Kominfo TV, so that people are not surprised to the power outage during working hours.
He explained, routine substation maintenance is carried out every year, so that the engine is durable and its performance is maintained.
Maintenance of the substation is carried out also as an effort to anticipate the occurrence of disruption to blackouts during the implementation of the National Examination and HSU Anniversary Commemoration.
