The South Hulu Sungai (HSS) Council for National Handicrafts Indonesia (Dekranasda) stand won the best for the regency or city category in the Banjarmasin Sasirangan Festival (BSF) held by the Banjarmasin City Government some time ago.
Daily Chairperson of HSS Dekranasda Sasmi Rifani in Kandangan on Friday (15/3) said the success of the Dekranasda HSS stand showing that HSS sasirangan fabric had been appreciated and recognized by the wider community.
"This achievement is also due to the support of the Chairwoman of Dekranasda HSS Isnaniah Achmad Fikry who continues to push for the progress of our regional sasirangan fabric," she said.
The promotion of sasirangan cloth was carried out by Dekranasda HSS through various events both at the local till international levels, including at the BSF event which was held from March 6 to 10, 2019.
In BSF, Dekranasda HSS features typical sasirangan fabrics with ketupat and Sehati motifs, also featuring a variety of the district specialty products such as various wooden crafts, bamboo handicrafts, and snack food products.
