The joint health team that serves the 14th haul congregation of Tuan Guru Haji Muhammad Zaini Abdul Ghani or Guru Sekumpul Martapura was forced to conduct evacuation through the river.

"Because the road is crowded, so we have to evacuate those who are sick with fatigue or other problems to the hospital through the river using engine rubber boats," Banjarmasin SAR Office spokesman Imam said on Sunday.

He informed, the combined health team at least evacuated 25 pilgrims at the peak of the haul activities to Sekumpul (about 40 kilometers north of Banjarmasin) that day.

"The congregation who was evacuated to Ratu Zaleha Martapura General Hospital and Pelita Insani Martapura Hospital were detected due to fatigue, shortness of breath, asthma, stomach ulcers and fever," he quoted a medical team representative from the Banjarmasin SAR Office.

"We from Banjarmasin SAR are always ready to help overcome all the problems with the Guru Sakumpul haul activities," said Faith.

It was estimated the pilgrims who attended the peak of the haul (memorial ceremny) event more than one million people. They were not only residents of South Kalimantan, consisting of 13 regencies and cities, but from neighboring provinces, also from Java Island.

Also present at the peak of the 14th haul of Guru Sakumpul was former Deputy Governor of DKI Sandiaga Uno.
