Regent of North Hulu Sungai (HSU) Abdul Wahid appreciated the performance of the Library and Archives Agency (Dispersip), led by Hj Lailatanur Raidah, who won proud achievements at the national level.
"It is not an easy thing to reach second place in the national best in managing archives. In fact, it is said that HSU is the only one outside Java that won this award," Wahid said in front of officials and government employees at a joint ceremony on Monday.
Wahid said, the supervisory team from the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI) in 2018 visited and saw firsthand how the management of archives in various agencies here.
The result, he said, for the district and city category in Indonesia the value obtained by HSU 89.43, the second highest under Yogyakarta and above Sleman Regency with a 'good' value.
Wahid hopes that the achievements of the HSU Dispersip can motivate other local government agencies to improve archival management.
