Barabai, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The Paris Van Borneo tourism event to be held by Central Hulu Sungai (HST) Government in June 2019 will be marked with various activities, one of which is the traditional ethnic and culinary festival.
"This event will take place for a week and to be centered on Dwi Warna Field (Barabai) and the tourist attraction of Batu Benawa Pagat," said Head of Tourism of Youth, Sport, and Tourism Agency (Disporapar) Fakhrurazi here, Friday.
According to him, in addition to traditional ethnic festival and culinary, there isalso tourist photo competitions with HST's natural beauty as the objects.
"We will invite the Tourism Agency from across South Kalimantan and working unit (SKPD) throughout the HST to participate in culinary festivals," he said.
At ethnic festivals, the agency embraces the cultural community in the HST and other areas in South Kalimantan and outside the region to participate.
"So this event is not only more about introducing locality, we can improve the level to becomes a national event," he explained.
