jakarta (Antaranews Kalsel) - A glorious achievement was achieved by the South Kalimantan Family Welfare Empowerment (TP-PKK) team in the 2018 National All Fish-Menu Contest.
South Kalimantan's TP-PKK named as Best 1 Category of for All Fish Menu for Family by a jury of national and international chefs. The winner announcement was read by Chef Juna, Master Chef Indonesia Leader, as chair of the jury.
The competition which was held at the 5th National Fish Day Commemoration took place at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta, Friday (7/12), attended by Secretary General of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs (KKP) Nilanto Prabowo, General Chairwoman of TP-PKK Center Erni Guntarti Tjahjo Kumolo with board of management .
Each participant displayed a menu of all-fish that contain high nutritional and protein. Participants were very concerned about the elements of nutritional balance, hygiene, cleanliness, and careful selection and concocting cooking spices.
Nilanto Prabowo said the love of eating fish is a program that must be encouraged continuously. As a maritime country, consuming fish should be a tradition. To become a tradition, it needs to be instilled early on in children.
"Alhamdulillah, in this national event we won the best one category of all-fish menu creation for families. All thanks to the collaboration of the entire PKK and management team, and the local government, " said the South Kalimantan TP PKK Chairwoman Hj Raudatul Jannah after receiving the award.
