Amuntai, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - A job training institution offers a variety of training to people who want to quickly open a business that is selling well or popular.

Two villages welcomed the offer of the Sentra Mitra Karya Job Training Center (LPK Semitra). By using village funds the training was held for citizens who want to improve their economic level.

"The Banyu Tajun Village community want training in the utilization of agricultural products. In this village, many farmers are confused and do not have the expertise to process their agricultural products. The residents of Muara Tapus Village want sewing training," said the Head of LPK Semitra Amuntai Khairun Nisa here Monday.

Training on processing agricultural products in Banyu Tajun Dalam Village, Sungai Pandan Subdistrict, is directed at the skill of making processed foods in the form of nuggets and pentols (meatball) from chicken and fish.

The business of fish nuggets and meatballs is currently quite popular with the public, especially if you are able to process them with diverse flavors.

Likewise, said Khairun Nisa, sewing business is still lacking in Amuntai City and its surroundings, especially if there is an agenda of government activities or private events, it can be ascertained that there are many sewing requests.

Women in Muara Tapus Village, Central Amuntai, want to have sewing skills considering their village is close to Amuntai City, so sewing business is quite promising.

The opening of the training in the two villages was held on Monday attended by the sub-district head, sub-district secretary, head of the BPD, and the village head.
The average training is carried out from 20 to 24 days with a six to eight hours of study.

"If possible, next year another training will be reallocated that can encourage community business," said Amuntai Tengah Sub-District Head Rahman Heriyadi.
