Tanjung, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Deny Ranoptri (35), an elementary school (SD) teacher in Tabalong, South Kalimantan, has become famous in the education world because of his diligent blogging for learning media.
This year, the Ministry of Education has chosen him as the Ambassador of the Best National Rumah Belajar (Learning House).
And in the same year, the man who's born in Tanjung November 3, 1983, received the 2018 Ki Hajar Dewantara Award for his talent in learning media.
The teacher at state elementary school SDN 1 Nawin Hilir in Tabalong is indeed good at information and communication-based learning media and that also what makes it district known nationally for his work.
Before becoming a school teacher, Deny claimed to have been an NGO activist. But his talent in the IT began to be honed when he became a staff at the Rumah Belajar Tanjung managed by the Putera-Puteri Tabalong Foundation until 2011.
Deny later changed his profession to become a teacher at the SD Garagata 2 in Jaro Subdistrict and in 2015 moved to become a classroom teacher at the SDN 1
Nawin Hilir until now.
"I like to create a blog as a material for student learning media based on information technology," said Deny.
Apparently, his work blog was visited by many teachers from outside Kalimantan. From his blog, Deny earns up to 2,000 US dollars or around Rp30 million per month.
At the end of December 2015, the man who loves reading won an individual category award for educational bloggers, including the Education Care Award from his inspirational blog from the Ministry of Education.
Previously, the graduate technology student of Surabaya University won first place in the Tabalong Learning Media Contest and ranked first in the School web Competition for all levels of South Kalimantan Province in 2015.
Now as the Ambassador of the Best National Learning House, Deny is an extension of the Ministry of Education and Culture's Information and Communication Technology Center (Pustekkom) to socialize the use of information and communication technology-based learning media.
