Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Sixteen foreign exchange students participating in the AIESEC environmental and education project
in Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM), Friday (14/09), said goodbye to the Mayor of Banjarmasin H Ibnu Sina.


They have finished carrying out their duties and will return to their respective countries. They come from Germany, France, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Vietnam, Belgium, and Morocco.

The students expressed their gratitude to the Mayor and the ranks of Government of Banjarmasin who received them well.

While here, they extracted information about the success of Banjarmasin in waste management. They also teaching in several schools in the city.

They revealed the various experiences gained while in the City of a Thousand Rivers. On average they got a memorable experience, one of which was about the culture and friendliness of the people of this city towards the comers.

H Ibnu Sina said all the experience gained by the students would be input for the Government of Banjarmasin to further advance the city.

"Congratulations on returning to your respective countries. Send our best regard to your family. By leaving this city, I hope that doesn't mean you forget it. I on behalf of the Mayor of Banjarmasin express my gratitude, you have been here and hopefully Banjarmasin is a more developed city," he said.

All of the students, then by the mayor were given a certificate of appreciation for their contributions as volunteers in environmental issues in the City.
