Pelaihari, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Tanah Laut Legislative Council (DPRD), South Kalimantan, will question the Public Works and Public Housing Agency regarding the construction of a bridge without road access.

"We question why the construction of the border liaison between RT 16 Angsau Village, Pelaihari Subdistrict, and Kunyit Village, Bajuin Subdistrict can be carried out. What is the function? Even though road access does not yet exist," said a member of the Tanah Laut DPRD's Commission I Ahmad Mursidi in Pelaihari, Thursday (13/9).

According to him, the agency should not build the bridge before the road access is available.

"The Council will question this matter to the Public Works and Public Housing Agency," he said.

Previously reported the construction of the bridge was questioned by residents in the district.

"I wonder why the bridge can be built, even though there is no access to the road," said the Director of the NGO Merah Putih Hardiansyah.

According to him, the construction of the connecting bridge seems to have no function, because the community cannot use it.

"The bridge that was completed several years ago cannot be used by the community until now," he said.
