Kandangan, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - South Hulu Sungai (HSS) again won the award for the Child Friendly District (KLA) and at the same time Islamic junior high school MTsN 1 HSS received the Child Friendly School (SRA) award for MTs level across Indonesia from Minister for Women Empowerment and Child Protection Yohana Susana Yembise.
Head of Population Control, Family Planning, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Agency (PPKBPPPA) Hj. Is Susilastuti in Surabaya on Monday (23/7) said the award was given as the appreciation of the central government through the Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection to HSS both for districts and schools that give considerable attention to children.
"It is a proud thing especially for the HSS District Government that has received the KLA award by giving children's rights, so MTsN 1 HSS received a Child Friendly School (SRA) award which has provided a clean, healthy and safe environment," he said.
He explained that the KLA and SRA Award for HSS was accepted by Acting Regent H.Dahnial Kifli, handed over directly by Minister Yohana Susana Yembise, in the series of National Children's Day (HAN) event 2018, at Dyandra Convention Center Building, Surabaya, Monday (23/7).
With this award, it is expected that in the following year HSS will continue to improve the status of a child friendly district after 2017 also receive KLA awards, SRA and other programs in the context of child fulfillment and protection.
H. Dahnial Kifli said there were seven out of thirteen regencies and cities in South Kalimantan that won KLA, one of them was HSS district.
According to him, in order to be able to increase the title in 2019, the programs must be prepared and compiled. "I am motivating at the 2019 assessment that the relevant parties will work together to improve facilities and integrity in schools and in the HSS district," he said.
