Banjarmasin, (Antaranews South Kalimantan) - Fauzan Noor, a native youth of South Kalimantan who won a karate in Prague, Czechoslovakia in early 2018, visited the South Kalimantan Police Chief Insp.Gen. Rachmat Mulyana on Thursday (19/7). He also had time to show the action in front of the general.


Fauzan figure lately viral in mass media coverage as well as social media Rachmat claimed to be proud of the achievements of this youth who broughtthe name of the nation in the international arena.

"Fauzan is an asset of the nation and should be given full support so that he can continue to achieve and raise Red and White flag in the international world, that's our hope," said Rachmat.

Asked about to the possibility of Fauzan to be accepted as a member of the Police, Rachmat said still see the opportunity whether he qualified.

"Fauzan will be 21 in August 2018. I will report it to the leader first, maybe he can be accepted in Tamtama (lower-ranking noncomissioned officer) through the special requirements of the achievement path," explained police chief.

While Fauzan Noor, accompanied by his coach, Mustafa, was very pleased to get the attention of police chief and promised to continue to train hard to be able to re-carve achievements.

Fauzan won the traditional karate-world kumite (ITKF) kick-off in Prague, Czech in early 2018.

In the final, Fauzan, whose height is 162.5 cm and weighs about 62 kg, defeating the host or European champion whose body was much taller and bigger.

Fauzan represents Indonesia and even the Asian ambassador after winning in the 2017 Ocenia Traditional Asian Karate Championship at IPDN Jatinangor, West Java, on 12-13 August 2017.
