Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarmasin Municipal Government through the Health Agency established Public Safety Center for the rapid handling of emergency.
Public Safety Center (PSC) is a medical emergency service using the access code 119 or telephone number 0811 5033 119 and frequencies 14,119 fm, now can be used Banjarmasin community in need.
"PSC is a mandate of Presidential Directive No.4/2013 that all districts and cities in Indonesia must have a PSC as a coordinating center for emergency services in an area," said Head of Banjarmasin Health Agency dr Anies, when launching PSC 119 at City Hall on Tuesday 17/07).
PSC, he said, applies networked systems with the nearest health service facility to the scene, and the PSC can be carried out jointly with other technical units outside the health sector, such as police and firefighters.
"PSC 119 Banjarmasin is the 3rd formed in South Kalimantan, after Barito Kuala and Tanah Laut. God willing, we from the health sector remain committed to running what has become a mandate, "he said.
PSC inauguration was attended by Mayor H Ibnu Sina, Deputy Mayor Hermansyah, City Police Chief and officials of the municipal government.
Doctor Anies hopes, PSC can cooperate with inter working units either in municipal government, hospital, and other related sectors.
