Kandangan, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Government of South Hulu Sungai (HSS) through the Health Agency has received certification of malaria elimination in 2018 from Health Minister Nila Farid Moeloek.
Head of Health Agency Hj. Siti Zainab in Kandangan said HSS won the award along with 20 other districts from all over Indonesia, and HSS became the only district in South Kalimantan that was awarded the Malaria Elimination Certificate.
"This award is for the commitment and efforts that have been made in the prevention and control of malaria for three consecutive years," she said.
The momentum is expected to be the trigger to the common spirit of the community to maintain the cleanliness of the environment.
Likewise, for the future HSS increasingly free from malaria and other tropical diseases, and citizens more and more healthy life.
The award was presented by Minister of Health Nila Farid Moeloek and received by HSS Health Agency head Hj Siti Zainab, during World Malaria Day and World Immunization Week in Pandeglang, Banten, some time ago.
