Vice Regent H Saifullah here on Monday said the significant increase in the realization of production and the area of corn planting is one proof of hard work of farmers together with related parties.

"The realization of corn production is proud, and this is evidence of our support for the central government program," he said.

According to vice-regent, the cultivation program of rice, corn, and soybean (pajale) is a central government program proclaimed by President Joko Widodo.

Through the program, the central government seeks to increase rice, corn and soybean production, to meet domestic demand and reduce imports.

He hopes this will be a booster for farmers, businessmen of agriculture products and it support, agriculture and economic apparatuses and policymakers.
