Amuntai, S Kalimantan (Antaranews.Kalsel) - The North Hulu Sungai (HSU) Prosecutors Office found an alleged misappropiation of village fund in the district and has scheduled to prosecute the case in February next year.


"Now we are handling the case of village fund manipulation in HSU and to begin prosecution it in next February," said Head of Special Crime of the office Bangun Dwi Sugiharto, SH here on Friday.

Bangun rejected to say the name of the intended village with the reasons the case is still under investigation. 

Anyway, he urged the village officials not to hesitate to ask the assistance of  the Regional Development Watch (TP4D) team in the Prosecutor's Office, so as not to get involved in legal issues in the management of village funds.

Especially, after the central government has increased the village fund allocation in the 2018 state budget (APBN) to Rp1,5 billion for each village. Eventhough there is decrease in the fund for each district and city by Rp10 billion, but there is still ann assistance fund of Village Fund Allocation (ADD) through local budget (APBD).

During 2017 the Prosecutor's Office has been handling five case of corruption, namely one one case in the inquiry process, one case in the process of investigation , one prosecution case, and two cases already executed.

Among the cases executed were short-term assistance cases for the fisheries community TA.2015. While one case was being investigated in connection with misuse of village funds in 2015.
