The collapsed Pitap wing directly handled

Paringin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The outside wings of Pitap Dam project which is collapsed directly handled by PT Brantas Abipraya - PT Ashfri (KSO).

The executive officer of PT Brantas Abipraya - PT Ashfri (KSO) Joko Riyanto accompanied by Operations Staff Medio said although the outside wings have no effect on the dam, the quick handling must be done so as not to spread to other embankments.

The company is the implementer of the Pitap Irrigation Area Network project. However, according to him, the handling of the collapsed embankment must be done, so as not to interfere with other works.

"The embankment is not our job, it is the work of the previous contractor, but the handling must be done immediately so the soil will not continue to be eroded and the other embankment walls will not collapse," he said on Friday (1/12).

The company Subsequently submitted an embankment renovation plan and consulted it to the consultant, he said.

The embankment outside the Pitap Dam project funded by state budget (APBN), previously collapsed with a length of about 20 meters. Allegedly, the collapse because of the foundations were thin and cracked.
