Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 21/11 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarmasin Municipal Government will build a dancing fountain at a cost of Rp5 billion in the Kamboja Green Open Space on Jalan H. Anang Adenansi in 2018.


"The arrangement will take place in the Kamboja Green Open Space next year, there will be a fountain built at a cost of Rp5 billion," said Head of the Environment Agency Mukhyar in Banjarmasin on Tuesday.

He said the fountain to be built in the green open space resembles that of the Island of Gods, Bali.

"But the certainty of the form is not yet because the design has been not made yet, anyway it similar-like in Bali," he explained.

He said the fountain will be used as a new tourism icon in the city, where the support park in Kamboja, which is about two hectares, is kept being repaired.

"The gardens there will be made as beautiful as possible because it is a place to relax for residents," he said.

He explained the Kamboja Green Open Space will be improved as much as possible to make it as the pride of Banjarmasin residents.

"Because it also will be made as a standard child-friendly playground," he said.

He said the city of Banjarmasin which has won Adipura Kirana award from 2015, 2016, and 2017 will continue to develop the beauty of the city and reforestation.

"Because of the vacant land in our area is very minimal for the open space, so this Kamboja has maximized its development, let alone its location that also entered in the heart of the city," he explained.
