Wind-fired power plant construction begins in Tanah Laut

Pelaihari, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Regent of Tanah Laut H Bambang Alamsyah inaugurated the commencement of the construction of the wind-fired power plant (PLTB) in Kandangan Baru Village, Panyipatan Subdistrict, on Thursday (12/10).

Attending the event were Expert Staff for Governance, Law and Politics of South Kalimantan Government H Gusti Burhanuddin, Tanah Laut DPRD Speaker Ahmad Yani, Director of PT Tala Alam Baru Julius Rusli, Director of PC Energy Michael Foucher, heads of local government working units and Panyipatan residents.

"Tanah Laut Regency is very supportive of the construction of this power plant and we will prepare everything because this will be the needs of the community," said the Regent in Pelaihari.

He advised the community to support the PLTB program because the development in the future is very beneficial to the community.

At the end of the event, the Regent and Director of PT Tala Alam Baru Julius Rusli, Energy PC Director Michael Foucher, Head of SKPD and officials of Tanah Laut Regency had the opportunity to review the location of the wind-fired power plant located on the mountain using dirt bikes.
