Provincial Game needs Rp8,7 billion

Tanjung, South Kalimantan 18/8 (AntaranewsKalsel) - The need of all sports for the implementation of South Kalimantan Provincial Game (Porprov) in Tabalong District reached Rp8.7 billion.

Deputy Secretary of Tabalong branch of National Sports Committee (KONI) Madya was speaking in Tanjung on Friday following the implementation of budget rationalization.

"Once there is certainty of grants from the provincial government and the rationalization of the proposals of all sports finally calculated the needs of all sports reached Rp8, 7 billion," said Madya.

According to the Tabalong branch KONI treasurer Iwan, the grant funds have been deposited into KONI's accounts and the disbursement will be done per day.

"Either referees' fee, operational and other needs will be disbursed per day after delivering letters of accountability," explained Iwan.

Meanwhile, from monitoring of the preparation of facilities and infrastructure, a number of venues are not fully prepared.

Among these facilities in Pembataan Stadium, Murung Pudak, for the athletic track is also still the stage of workmanship. While heaps of materials such as sand and rocks are still visible around the stadium.

The tenth Porprov will compete for 35 sports and the opening will be held on October 8, 2017, with participants from 13 districts and cities.
