Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 1/6 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Central Banjarmasin police continues to curb Commercial Sex Workers (PSK) who still doing their job during Ramadan. Whatm make sad, many who caught are still under age.

"The first week of this Ramadhan we increase the intensity of raids of community diseases and always just catch the prostitutes who peddle themselves in the street or public places," said Central Banjarmasin police chief Commissioner Uskiansyah in here on Thursday.

In an early Thursday raid, they secured a number of underage girls suspected of CSWs. They were TH (15), HS (15), IN (21), ANF (14), RW (39), and DT (19).

"They were secured during a stand at Harum ManisMarket, Malabar Market and in front of HI Hotel Banjarmasin," said chief police who is familiarly called Uski.

Upon the netted underage prostitute, Uski admits to being concerned. He asked the Social Agency to give more attention in order they are aware and no longer being prostitutes at a very young age.

"We are still trying to trace whether there are pimps who control the perpetrator, if proven they were sold by someone then we certainly charge," said Uski.

During this Ramadhan, Central Banjarmasin policeis determined to clean up various community diseases, such as prostitutes and street children who often disturb the community, said Uski.
