Avoid collision, fuel truck overturned

Pelaihari, South Kalimantan (AntaraNewsKalsel) - An industry fuel transport truck DA 1409 AN driven by Bery Akbar, a resident of Telaga Biru Banjarmasin, overturned on Jalan Ahmad Yani in Jilatan Village, Batu Ampar Sub-District, Tanah Laut, Tuesday (16/5) around 05:00.

Fortunately there were no casualties in the incident, but one of driver's friends, Andy, also a citizen of Banjarmasin, suffered injuries on the left leg. He was then got treatment at H Boejasin Pelaihari District Hospital.

"The truck I steered was overturned because of dodging collision when passing against a car from the opposite direction," Bery Akbar said.

According to him, the incident was so fast as the full-loaded fuel truck could not be controlled, so it rolled to the side of the road body.

"Fortunately in this incident there were no casualties, only my friend who participated in the car suffered injuries to his left leg," he said.
