Damri bus fell into abyss

Kandangan, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - A Damri bus with the police number DA 1530 W which driven by Zainal (69) fell to the ravine in Kumpah, Panggungan Village, Loksado Subdistrict, South Hulu Sungai at around 12.00 due to unable to climb uphill road.

South Hulu Sungai Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner (AKBP) Sukendar Eka Ristiyan Putra through Head of Public Relations AKB Agus Winartono on Monday confirmed the traffic accident involving Damri bus and a motorcycle on Kumpah, Panggungan.

"In this accident there are no fatalities either injured or died, but the loss is estimated at Rp5 million," he said.

Meanwhile, the bus that boarded the entourage for Kandangan - Loksado destination previously went hand in hand with the Yamaha Mio Soul GT motorcycle DA 6602 WA rider Abdul Wahab (30), Ambangan, Balangan District, resident.

When the bus reached the Kumpah, it could not climb and finally could not be controlled and hit the motorcycle behind it, which then the bus fell into the abyss.

The incident was witnessed by several residents. Passengers were then transported using a pickup unit owned by residents.
