The District Government of Tapin, South Kalimantan, received the government agency performance accountability system (SAKIP) award with BB or a very good grade from the State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Ministry (KemenPAN-RB).
“The award, from good (B) to very good (BB) predicate, is proof of the effectiveness and efficiency of budget use which has an impact on achieving development targets and goals on both regional and national scale,” said Tapin Regional Secretary Sufiansyah in a press statement in Rantau, Tapin, Wednesday.
PAN-RB Minister Abdullah Azwar Anas handed over the award in Jakarta, Wednesday to Tapin Regional Secretary and other regional heads at the SAKIP Award 2024 event which has the theme “Strengthening synergy, realizing accoutability for Advanced Indonesia”.
“We are grateful for this award, but I ask all regional apparatus to continue to simplify the bureaucratic process in Tapin District, so that Tapin's SAKIP score increases even more and in the future it can achieve AA grade,” he said.

Sufiansyah said that this SAKIP award cannot be separated from cooperation and commitment of regional officials in improving government governance in a better direction, so that it has an impact on the interest of public.
Meanwhile, PAN-RB Minister Abdullah Azwar Anas, after handing over the award, said the SAKIP 2024 award was to encourage synergy and collaboration among government agencies, both central and regional.
According to him, this step is an effort to maximize the role of regional government in maintaining performance in accordance with predetermined targets.
Deputy for Bureucratif Reform, Apparatus Accountability and Supervision of PAN-RB Ministry Erwan Agus Purwanto said SAKIP Award is an appreciation event for regional governments through assessment evaluation for the best SAKIP.
“This activity becomes a forum for sharing knowledge and interactive learning between government agencies,” said Erwan.
