The City Government of Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, won the TPID Award 2024 which was handed over by President Joko Widodo at the State Palace, Jakarta, Friday.
 
"The award was directly receveid by the Mayor," said Head of the City's Communication, Informatics and Statistics Office Windiasti Kartika in Banjarmasin, Friday.
 
She said, Banjarmasin winning the best in the performance of the Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) in 2023 in Kalimantan for the category of district and city.

It was based on the performance assessment from the aspects of process, output, and outcome through it superior program "Iwak Kota".

TPID Award is an award for efforts and innovation to control inflation by strengthening 4K, namely price affordability, supply availability, smooth distribution, and effective communication.
 
Mayor H Ibnu Sina in his official release expressed his appreciation to TPID of Banjarmasin City for working well and to be awarded this award.
 
"This is the result of the team work, including deputy mayor, regional secretary, as well as role of Bank Indonesia, BPS, Bulog and others. Hopefully we can maintain it," he said.
 
Ibnu Sina also extended the President's mandate that prices of basic commodities to be well maintained, stock always available, and prices are affordable.
 
The mayor said that this award is for the residents of the city.
 
He was accompanied by the officials of the city's TPID for attending the National Coordination Meeting on Inflation Control at the State Palace, Jakarta, Friday.
