The Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK RI) of South Kalimantan Representative has given the 2023 Central Hulu Sungai (HST) government's financial report Unqualified Opinion or WTP.

“Alhamdulillah (Thank God), Central Hulu Sungai District has obtained WTP for the third time since I was inaugurated as a regional head,” said HST Regent Aulia Oktafiandi in Barabai, Wednesday.

He was with Chairman of HST DPRD Rachmadi, HST Inspector Ainur Rafiq, and Head of BPKAD when receiving the WTP of the 2023 Regional Financial Report (LKPD) together with 12 regional heads throughout South Kalimantan from Head of BPK South Kalimantan Rahmadi in Banjarbaru, Tuesday (May 7, 2024).

“This achievement is the results of cooperation of the Regional Apparatus Work Unit (SKPD), related agencies, and of course also thanks to the involvement of the Central Hulu Sungai community,” he said.

Aulia hopes that HST government continue to manage its regional finance professionally and transparently and be able to carry out various programs to realize peole welfare.

Meanwhile, Head of BPK RI of South Kalimantan Representative Rahmadi said that BPK had conducted audit on the 2023 LKPD of HST and 12 districts and cities in accordance with applicable procedures and laws.

Based on the results of several points of examination, he said, BPK concluded that their LKPD has been presented fairly, in accordance with SAP and accounting principles, thus BPK gave the WTP predicate to HST and 12 other regional governmets.

“The examination paid attention to the suitability criteria that refer to government accounting standards (SAP), the adequacy of evidence of accountability documents and completeness of disclosure, compliance with laws and regulations and effectiveness of internal contral,” said Rahmadi.
