State-owned Enterprises Minister Erick Thohir has named Nawal Nely as commissioner of the state electricity firm PT PLN (Persero) at the company's general shareholders meeting (RUPS) he chaired.
At the same time, SOE Minister decided to honorably dismiss Eko Sulistyo and Tedi Bharata as PLN commissioners.
The handover of the copy of the decision was held at the SOE Ministry office in Jakarta, Tuesday, March 19, 2024, as noted in a statement through Public Relation of PT PLN Main Distribution Unit of South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan in Banjarbaru,
According to the result of the GMS, the composition of PLN Board of Commissioners is Main Commissioner and Independent Commissioner Agus Dermawan Wintarto Martowardojo with Suahasil Nazara as Deputy of Main Commissioner.
Then Commissioner Mohamad Ikhsan, Commissioner Dadan Kusdiana, Commissioner Dudy Purwagandhi, Commissioner Susiwijono Moegiarso, Independent Commissioner Charles Sitorus, Independent Commissioner Arcandra Tahar and the new Commissioner Nawal Nely.

PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo expressed his gratitude for the dedication given by Eko Sulistyo and Tedi Bharata as PLN Commissioners.
"PLN Big family wishes Mrs Nawal Nely a good job. We also express our gratitude contribution and dedication that have given by Mr. Eko Sulistyo and Mr. Tedi Bharata," said Darmawan.
He emphasized that PLN is committed to continuing to provide the best service for customers and carrying out the transition of energy to ensure a better life.
"PLN continues to be committed to carrying out transformation in order to provide the best and excellent services for all customers in the country. We are confident that the new commissioner will improve PLN's performance, especially in providing services to the entire community and carrying out energy transition to achieve Zero Emissions by 2060," said Darmawan.
