Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Banjarmasin Drug Unit Police uncovered 84 cases in the local town in the first 100 days of National Police program called Promoter.


"The case of narcotics revealed 64, while cases of dangerous drugs as many as 20," said Chief of Drug Unit Police Kompol Feri R Sitorus Sik here on Tuesday.

He said the number of suspects arrested were 112, including 103 men and nine women.

Evidence seized were 137 packages of sabu-sabu weighing 334.53 grams, 100,000 Dextro pills, termadol 1,195 pills, Zenith 1,152,893 pills, and Somadril 9,000 pills, and Rp9.750.000 cash.

Middle-ranking officers graduated from Police Academy class of 2004 said evidence from suspects all secured in Banjarmasin Narcotics Unit Police.

Drug suspects charged under Article 114 of Law No. 35 Year 2009 on Narcotics and dangerous drugs offenders charged under Article 197 of Law No. 36 Year 2009 on Health.

"The uncover of cases in the first phase of promoter program of National Police chief starting from the date of July 25, 2016 until October 23, 2016," he said during a drug case expose.

Banjarmasin Police appealed to all citizens to work together to eradicate narcotics and illicit drugs trafficking. If there are families of victims of illicit goods immediately report to the Police and BNNP to be rehabilitated.
