The Datu Kandang Haji General Hospital (RSDKH) in Balangan, South Kalimantan, offers online psychiatric consultation for legislative council candidate for the 2024 General Election.
Director of Balangan RSDKH drg. Sudirman here on Friday said that the candidates can use this service to observe their mental condition through online consultation before running for the election.
"This service can observe a person's psychologial condition," he said.
Regarding the phenomenon of legislative candidate who fail having the potential to become depressed, he said, that not all of failing candidates may experience mental disorder because it depends on the individual's readiness.
In addition to legislative candidates, RSDKH also provides psychiatric service for the public who are indicated to be experiencing depressed or mental disorder.
The Balangan RSDKH provides an inpatient room with a capacity of 100 type C beds for patients with mental disorders.
Sudirman expounded the characteristics of someone experiencing mild or moderate mental disorder are experiencing different behaviors, ranging from anxiety, heart palpitations, headaches, until complainin digestive tract.
Meanwhile, the symptoms of patients with severe mental disorder show unusual behavior, abnormal in daily life.
"The potential for mental disorder also depends on various, namely genetic, parenting, psychological and sosial lainnya," tutur Sudirman.
