Kandangan, (Antaranews Kalimantan) - A pilgrim origin of South Hulu Sungai (HSS) on behalf of Salmin Darmin Jalaluddin, resident of Hamayung village, North Daha Sub-district, has not been able to return to homeland due to the ailing coma in An-Nor Hospital, Mecca.


Salmin serious ill condition does not allow him to go home with the HSS 275 pilgrims joined in eight keloter (flight group) that Saturday arrived in Banjarmasin debarkation.

"Currently, Salmin is in a coma and in intensive care by the medical team at the hospital where he was being treated," said a haj committee.

HSS pilgrims arrived at Syamsudin Noor Airport Banjarmasin approximately a 22:53 o'clock Saturday (24/9) and right away bought home to Kandangan using four buses and several duty cars of SKPD heads and sub-district heads throughout the HSS.

They arrived at HSS at 09.00 pm. The pilgrims was immediately welcomed by Regent Drs H Achmad Fikry, Vice Regent H ardiansyah as well as chairman of the local assembly council (DPRD) Syamsuri Arsyad at Regency Hall, Sunday (25/9).

Chairman of eighth keloter H Abdul Manan stated HSS pilgrims were 277 when departing. One pilgrim by name H Basran Ahmad died in the holy land at King Abdul Aziz Hospital on Thursday night. While Salmin (70) being in coma in An Nor Hospital, Mecca.

Regent advised what was done in Mecca and Medina could be reapplied when back home to realize HSS as religious areas, one with enliven the mosques and mushalla.

"May be the mabrur hajj," prayed Regent Achmad H Fikry.
