Banjarmasin (South Kalimantan Antaranews) - A total of 45 state elementary schools (SDN) in the city of Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, are proposed to be restored, as their condition are less adequate for teaching and learning activities.


Head of Basic Education of Banjarmasin Education Agency Nuryadi on Wednesday said the restoration program for 45 SDNs has been proposed to the central government to be realized by 2017.

"The proposal that we submitted to the restoration as many as 45 SDNs was complete with their data, including pictures of schools. We hope it can be approved, as a matter of urgency to be repaired in total," said Nuryadi in Banjarmasin.

According to him, of the 207 primary schools in the capital city of the province, there are still about 135 schools, including private schools, that need to be fixed to the maximum means of learning and teaching, and is in need of substantial funds.
