Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The South Kalimantan Education Agency program one State Early Childhood Education (PAUD Negeri) for each sub-district to accelerate early childhood education in the province.
Head of Education Agency Ngadimun in Banjarmasin on Monday said the State PAUD is important to continue to be developed in enhancing human resources, especially for children who are in the golden age.
"We are targeting one state PAUD and kindergarten for one sub-district, which will serve as an adviser to other PAUD and kindergarten in the surrounding area," he said.
According to Ngadimun, through PAUD, the child will have a better quality than those who directly entered elementary school (SD), both in terms of behavior, independence and intelligence. Thus, he added, the provincial government to encourage the presence of PAUD and kindergarten with play facilities and adequate educative for the children to be more focused.
Currently, 99 percent of kindergarten or early childhood education South Kalimantan run by private, and some have not had a decent play facilities, so students can not feel the play while learning.
"In many kindergarten and PAUD today is to learn while playing, but the right one is to play while learning," he said.
He said, basically the issue of early childhood education is the responsibility of the district and municipal, but the provincial government would help in accordance with the procedures and applicable regulations.
