Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, July 12 (AntaranewsKalsel)- The Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Ministry will organize a national fish quarantine meeting in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, on July 18-21, 2016.
Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Minister Susi Pudjiastuti was expected to officially open the meeting, Banjarmasin Mayor Ibnu Sina stated here, Monday.
Some 700 officers from quarantine offices across Indonesia will participate in the three-day meeting to be held to coincide with National Quarantine Day.
The meeting will discuss fish quarantine development and challenges.
On the occasion, Minister Pudjiastuti is also expected to release 200 arowana fish seeds into the Martapura River.
